I’ll let the photo’s tell the story for Saturday’s AZCross race in Phoenix. It’s one to remember for sure!

We assembled to the start line under torrential downpours.

We rode across this lake two weeks ago. It wasn’t 15 feet deep that day, rather it was dusty and dry.

Kyle took the win in what could be the most epic AZ CX race to date. Props!

After the race Kyle said I did a really good job of hitting the cement edge that sliced my rear tire on lap two… Luckily Mel helped me swap out the wheel in the pit and I chased for the remainder of the day, finishing 6th. The course was slick, boggy, or under water depending on the area of the park we happened to be racing through.

A couple of rainbows sent us back to Tucson. A huge thanks to super-fan Brian Meyer for taking the pics, ringing the cowbell, and running all across the course in the downpour. Thanks to BMC for getting me to the start line with the bike. -TJ
